SightLife is one of the leading eye banks in the nation. The Lions Clubs of Washington and Northern Idaho started our organization, then known as the Northwest Lions Eye Bank, in 1969. That first year, we provided 30 corneas for transplant. Times have changed, and SightLife continues to grow. In 2008, we provided more than 3,260 corneas for transplant, fully meeting the need in our region and helping fill gaps across the United States and in 32 other countries.
