The LAB-BOT-ONE is capable of labeling typical laboratory tubes like HPLC or cryogenic vials, as well as 50 ml centrifuge tubes without requiring any modification. Its integrated printing module operates at 600 DPI, allowing for high-resolution labels directly attached to the tubes. Unlike other market competitors, there's no need to differentiate between small and large tubes when making a purchase.

Week 7

The LAB-BOT-ONE offers a versatile solution for a wide range of laboratory tasks. Its peristaltic pump system enables precise dispensing of liquids. The dispensing cannula moves with the liquid level in the tube to prevent hanging drops and aerosol formation. The use of different hose diameters makes it possible to achieve different volumes and accuracies. Another advantage of the LAB-BOT-ONE is the ability to carry out dispensing in parallel with labeling, which saves additional transport processes and time. In addition, the device also screws the tubes together again after dispensing, which further optimizes and automates the workflow.

Weighing

In addition to labeling and filling tubes, determining weights in the laboratory consumes the most time in daily operations. Placing tubes on the scale, waiting for stabilization, and manually recording or transferring values is a lengthy and unproductive process. The LAB-BOT-ONE reliably handles this task for hundreds of samples. It doesn't matter whether it's an HPLC tube or a 50ml centrifuge tube – the LAB-BOT-ONE handles it seamlessly.

Housing and Size

We have developed a device that, with a width of 80 cm and a depth of 68 cm and a height of only 55 cm, fits on any laboratory workbench. In addition to the label module, it also offers space for, for example, 15 racks with SBS format. The highlight, however, is the open design, which allows unhindered access to the work area. This means that the device can be easily placed in a fume hood or a safety or clean room workbench - depending on the product or personal protection concept.

The LAB-BOT-ONE can not only process racks in the standardized SBS format, but can also be equipped with individual rack carriers so that commercially available racks suitable for automation can be used. HPLC racks, cryo racks with 10x10 or 9x9 grids and even Hamilton and Tecan carriers can be used directly. And if a rack carrier for the rack doesn't exist, it can be configured quickly and easily. The best thing is that the rack carriers can also be used mixed and exchanged individually by the user.

Software concept

The LAB-BOT-ONE does not need a control computer with a monitor and system administrator. Thanks to the built-in web server, the device status and order management are conveniently carried out in the web browser from any network-enabled device. Powerful programs are available to generate orders or can be easily adapted to individual needs thanks to the clear API.

The device behaves like a classic network printer - only for labeling, filling and weighing laboratory tubes.
